Amna Al Jallaf appointed to Consultative Committee of Advocacy and Legal Consultancy Professions Affairs
We are delighted to announce Amna's appointment to this important committee established by the Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department.
The Committee, which held its first meeting on 13 January 2016, also attended by Amna, was established by the Department as part of its commitment to communicate and consult with lawyers in the region.
Amna comments:
"The Committee is a crucial link between the Department and legal professionals. It forms part of a wider strategy to develop the provision of legal services in Dubai and raise the standard of practitioners. These strategies will ultimately benefit clients and professionals alike, improving efficiency, quality and the administration of justice. This is another area where Al Jallaf aims to Bridge the Gap. I am honoured to have been invited to be part of the Committee and look forward to many helpful discussions on taking Dubai's legal system and profession forward."
The first meeting was attended by the Director General of the Department, HE Dr Lowai Belhoul, and a select number of key legal professionals in Dubai.
