Amna & Ihab attend UAE-Italy Business Forum

The Forum featured panel discussions on Infrastructure, Energy, Water and Environment

Advocates Amna Al Jallaf and Ihab Arja of Al Jallaf Advocates joined Senior officials of the Italian government and representatives from around 200 Italian companies, investment and trade agencies in Italy in participating in the UAE-Italy Business Forum, held recently in Dubai, UAE.
The forum was held in under the chairmanship of Engineer Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori, UAE Minister of Economy and Luigi Di Maio, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development, Labour and Social Policies of Italy, in the presence of several officials and businessmen from both countries, said a statement.
TheThe Italy-UAE Business Forum featured panel discussions taking place simultaneously on Infrastructure, Energy, Water and Environment and ITC. It's looking at fresh prospects to cement bilateral trade relations and support the growth and development of the UAE.
The forum is part of the Italian delegation's official visit to the UAE under the chairmanship of Luigi Di Maio.
Speakers at the Forum included Marwan Al Sarkal, CEO, The Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) and Mouza Obeid AlNaseri, acting CEO, Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development- Abu Dhabi affirmed the importance of the forum in the move to exchange expertise, knowledge transfer, trade and investment development between the UAE and Italy, especially across many of the priorities of the economic agendas of both countries.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Ihab is an Italian attorney-at-law and expert in the aviation sector. He has been engaged in commercial and regulatory law practice for many years, with a focus on aviation.

He has an extensive experience in high-profile litigation, aircraft financing and leasing, aviation regulation, aircraft accident investigations and policy & business aviation issues.

During his career, he has been actively involved in a full range of legal matters arising in the aviation industry, including drafting aviation legislations, participating in major Privatization and Public–Private Partnership projects, delivering regulatory consultations & proceedings, handling general aviation and commercial issues including sale, purchase and lease of aircraft transactions, aircraft & air navigation services’ insurance and reinsurance, and other environment, security & safety issues.

Ihab has addressed numerous conferences on aviation law and aircraft financing & leasing in the Middle East, Europe and Canada, and published on a variety of issues, including commercial aviation developments, environmental regulation impacting the aviation sector and the Cape Town Convention and its Aircraft Protocol.

He is a member of ICAO’s Commission of Experts of the Supervisory Authority of the International Registry (CESAIR) for the purposes of the Cape Town Convention (CTC) and the Aircraft Protocol.
