India debates new draft civil aviation policy
DNA India / Forbes India: Aviation minister Ashok Gajapati Raju has said that the new civil aviation policy will be out by the end of 2015.
Amna Al Jallaf comments, ‘the global aviation industry is looking towards India as another mass growth market with potential growth in travel, cargo and aircraft manufacturing. A new policy, which addresses the concerns of investors and other stakeholders in the sector, and opens up cheaper travel to India’s domestic population, will be crucial to future growth in the region.’
